Pastor Julius Edmondson Sr. was born on April 21, 1960 to Mr. James Edmondson Sr. and the late Rosa Edmondson. He has been a faithful member of New Jerusalem since the age of 17. Pastor Edmondson and Mrs. Edmondson met at Redan High School. Regardless of them being separated during college, they continued to write love letters, and were married in 1984. They were later blessed with to wonderful sons, Julius Edmondson Jr. and Thomas Matthew Edmondson, two wonderful daughter-in-laws, Maegan and Abriel Edmondson, three grandchildren, Kaleigh, Abrionna, and Jax, and a god-daughter, Tyonna Hill. He and his wife started work on the feed the hungry ministry in 1982. They soon opened the New Jerusalem Adult Daycare in 2005, and the New Jerusalem Christian Academy in 2010. Pastor Julius Edmondson also graduated from Cambridge College with a Masters Degree in Education (2003), Argosy University with a Specialist Degree in Education (2006), Christian Bible College and Seminary with a Doctorate in Christian Education (2015), and Georgia State University, where he earned a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration.
